Mexico and its people: what generation you are and how you plan to live?
The consulting firm Nielsen analysed data from a major study recently conducted on style life, mobility and housing trends, as well as saving habits, taking into account primarily the generational trait among those involved.
This study included the so dreamed generation "millennial", which sees young adults – the majority-, aged between 21 and 34 years; but also people of other generations were added: from the "silent", Baby Boomers, the "X" and "Z". The data mainly observed, was the strong interest of more than 25% of losmillenials to go to live in the big cities (suburbs), while the generation Z – 15 to 20 year – old, it is more than 50%.
Another important fact is that only 22% of respondents – millennial-, considered as "priority" own a House. Data that is strongly related to the growth in infrastructure and real estate investment.
In other respects, the study also showed results on savings habits and the younger generations are the priority plans to the appearance. For example, 32% of the generation Z saves enough money every month and feels secure your financial future; 34% of millennials are in the same situation. In the case of the X generation, 23% feel sure of its financial situation; of the previous generation, the "silent" and baby Boomers 23% 28%.
It is interesting to be on the lookout for these studies, because they allow us to better understand the behavior and balance of all aspects that affect us directly and indirectly from the economic and financial, social, urban and cultural.
We will have to see how they move these figures in the future, to understand even how evolving priorities of the people, according to his generation and context.
