Mexico: Industrial Sector of construction in recovery
Thus showed it the figures recently published, corresponding to the index of Industrial activity of the National Institute of geography and statistics (INEGI). Since last February, showed an annual growth of 2.8%, after a slight drop in the immediately preceding month.
The figures of progress or development considered under this expansion in industrial activity, are certainly due to various factors and stimuli in the growth. And among them we can see:
- Building: recovered after an annual increase of 4.0%.
- The industrial production index: grew 0.9% (monthly comparison)
- While in Civil engineering works: light fall of 15.3%
However, specialized works soared 12.2% from the January decline.
You are expected to analyze more data to obtain detailed behavior more accurately with respect to this item, as well as to follow closely its development and percentage – of progress or stagnation – obtained in each period. To do this, it will take the next month and later, the first half of this year.
